The three Buchenseen lakes are located on the outskirts of Güttingen, a neighborhood of Radolfzell. At the largest of these three idyllic lakes, the swimming area invites visitors to relax, sunbathe, splash around, swim, play, and enjoy themselves. In addition to a large sunbathing lawn, there is also a playground.
Swimming is free; paid parking is available in front of the swimming area.
The swimming area features a kiosk, changing rooms with showers, and restrooms.
From May 1 through September 30, the swimming area is open daily on nice days. Hours are subject to change depending on the weather.
(July and August) 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. These are the hours when lifeguards are on duty. These hours apply weather permitting.
(May 1–June 30 and Sept. 1–Sept. 30) 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. are the swimming hours with lifeguards on duty. These hours apply weather permitting.
