Castle Freudental
Freudental Castle is situated on a hill in the middle of the wonderful landscape of the Bodanrück. The baroque Freudental Castle was built between 1698 and 1700 and belonged to the Count of Bodman.
The recently completely renovated baroque castle is situated in a unique location on the Bodanrück with views of the Austrian and Swiss Alps. It is run as a hotel and is a popular venue for seminars and celebrations. The small landscaped park around Freudental Castle and the sumptuously furnished rooms provide a wonderful backdrop for large parties and romantic weddings. Many hidden seating areas in the park invite you to take a short break.
15 comfortable guest rooms, 5 historic halls, a library, the converted castle cellar and an idyllic park are available to guests.
The castle is privately owned.
Easy cycle and hiking trails lead directly from the castle into the extensive forests of the Bodanrück and to the Mindelsee nature reserve.
