Friedingen Landmarkt

At the beginning of December, the Friedinger Landmarkt in the Friedingen district of Singen reopened after a lengthy closure. The market is based on a future-oriented concept without permanent sales staff: customers scan their goods themselves and pay cashless at a self-service checkout. A modern security system supports the operation. Covering an area of around 280 square meters, the Landmarkt offers everyday food items, including regional products. It thus once again provides an important local shopping opportunity for the population. In the future, opening hours are to be extended further after technical adjustments have been made. The new Landmarkt is considered an innovative model for local supply in rural-urban areas.
