The “Grüner parken am C&A” car park is centrally located in the heart of Singen and offers an ideal starting point for a spot of shopping and a visit to the city centre. The C&A branch is situated right on the site at Freiheitstraße 19–21.
The car park forms part of the unique urban development of the C&A site. As part of the ‘Grüner Wohnen’ project, the former car park of the C&A branch was converted into a multi-storey car park. Above this, and directly connected to the existing building, new flats and green spaces have been created.
The concept thus combines city-centre parking with modern infill development and plenty of greenery. Above the multi-storey car park is a green courtyard; in addition, green façade elements and photovoltaic systems, amongst other features, have been integrated into the neighbourhood. The former car park has thus been transformed into a modern urban neighbourhood that combines parking, housing and sustainable design.
Thanks to its central location, C&A, the pedestrian zone and numerous other attractions in Singen’s city centre are all within easy reach.
