MAC Museum Art & Cars
The MAC Museum Art & Cars combines classic cars, sports cars, and contemporary art. Located directly at the foot of the Hohentwiel, visitors can experience exhibitions, light art, photography, and temporary displays in modern architecture.
At the foot of Singen's local mountain, Hohentwiel, the MAC Museum Art & Cars creates a fascinating combination of art, design, and automotive history. Spread over four floors and beneath an 18-meter-high dome of light, visitors can expect to see milestones in automotive history—from historic classic cars to spectacular sports cars—as well as contemporary art forms such as photography, light art, and video mapping.
MAC 2, the second museum building, impresses with a glittering, sparkling façade that depicts two boulders that have “fallen” from the Hohentwiel. Architect Daniel Binder has thus created an ensemble that blends harmoniously into the museum landscape while also becoming an eye-catcher in its own right. The museum offers regular cyclical temporary exhibitions, creative events, and a stylish bistro, café, and restaurant, PARK 1, complemented by an attractive museum garden.
Another highlight is the SKYLOUNGE in MAC 2 – an event location with breathtaking views over Singen, the Hohentwiel and the Hegau mountains. This makes a visit to the museum an experience for car enthusiasts, art lovers and families alike who want to discover technology, culture and design in an inspiring environment.
