MAC Museum Garden
The museum garden at the MAC Museum Art & Cars delights visitors with its magnificent view of the Hohentwiel, regional cuisine, and impressive sculptures.
The museum garden of the MAC Museum Art & Cars in Singen am Hohentwiel is one of the region's most spectacular vantage points. With a direct view of the striking volcanic mountain Hohentwiel, it combines artistic enjoyment with a nature experience. In the warm season, the garden terrace invites visitors to linger over excellent cuisine and a glass of wine.
Amongst well-tended flower beds and mature trees, visitors can discover sculptures by the renowned sculptor Peter Lenk and works by Swiss artists Yvonne and Dominik Schleich-Beeler. A 90-year-old magnolia tree and flowering rhododendrons, roses, and hydrangeas add colorful accents throughout the year.
The museum itself offers concerts, readings, and lectures all year round. During the summer months, numerous events take place in the garden or courtyard, making the area a cultural meeting place in the volcanic landscape of Hegau – near Lake Constance and the Swiss border.
Tip: Combine your museum visit with a hike to the nearby Hohentwiel and enjoy the sweeping view over the western part of Lake Constance.
