Our interactive media room welcomes visitors to the “Hennhouse,” a self-guided tour available without prior reservation. Films and slideshows highlight worldwide research projects carried out by the Max Planck Institute for Ornithology.

Don’t miss the “Bee Marie” bee pasture.  The 1,500 sqm habitat was created for birds, insects and small animals serves research purposes, as well as nature friends and children who appreciate the various meadow lifeforms.
