To mark the 100th birthday of the institute's founder Elisabeth Noelle-Neumann on Lake Constance, the “Institut für Demoskopie Allensbach” has set up an exhibition in the town's local museum. Here, visitors can find out which sections of the population smoked significantly more 60 years ago, when confidence in Germany was at its highest and how many people have since turned their backs on the church. The permanent exhibition was opened in a section of the local history museum. In addition to facts and figures, it also provides fascinating insights into the work of opinion pollsters.
