House and garden were created in the years 1929/30, the old trees still bear witness to it today. Bettina Fele took over the location in 2015 and since then has created new garden areas, planted roses, integrated herbal and perennial beds into the existing plant. Various seating areas invite you to experience the garden from different perspectives.
From the flowering of crocuses in early spring to November, when the old ivy flowers, the table for insects and birds is constantly covered richly. Untreated areas provide a habitat for stalking, hedgehogs and other small creatures. A special feature are the many medicinal plants that thrive in various flower beds. Adjacent natural green spaces and gardens add to the extraordinary biodiversity.
Since August 2019 the garden "Am Sonnenberg" has been awarded with the nature in the garden plaque.

Reachability:
From Gailingen, drive through the Swiss area around Dörflingen and the village of Büsingen in the direction of Schaffhausen. Follow the Schaffhauser Strasse along the Rhine until you reach the district of Stemmer. In front of the Schaffhausen signpost, on the right, the Vogelingschenschen leads up the slope. The first street to the right is the Stemmerstrasse. Here you can park along the street. The house on Sonnenberg is on the left in second row.
Coming from Schaffhausen, the road leads along the Lindli to the restaurant Rhyhalde, then turn left into the Vogelingschenschen.
By public transport you can take bus 25 from Schaffhausen to the stop Rheinhalde Grenze.
