Singen City Hall
Situated in the city park below the Hohentwiel volcano, the Singen City Hall is the most flexible event centre between the Black Forest and Lake Constance.
The city hall in Singen provides space for theatre productions, classical, pop, rock and jazz concerts, ballet, opera, musicals, shows, cabaret performances, readings, lectures, congresses, conferences, seminars, trade fairs and celebrations. Every year, up to 290 events take place in Singen city hall. Over 120 of these are public events. From 2007 to 2017, the first ten years of its existence, 850,000 visitors attended more than 2,400 events.
The city hall is operated by Kultur und Tagung Singen (KTS), a municipal enterprise that also plays a key role in organising the annual Hohentwiel Festival in the ruins of one of Germany's largest fortress. KTS fulfils a cultural mandate from the town by holding its own events in the Singen city hall. In collaboration with Volksbühne Singen e.V. and Jugendmusikschule, KTS offers 31 theatre and concert performances each season. Renowned guest organisers appreciate the city hall's flexible offering, technical capabilities and professional service. Consequently, numerous tours stop off in Singen.
