Our store and the Vulkanbäckerei Stadelhofer bakery are located at the foot of the Hohentwiel. We have a close connection to this landscape: Our hot bakery is the volcanic region itself. The unique characteristics of this region are reflected in our baked goods.
We have been baking here since 1912. You can sense the spirit of honest work every day. As a traditional artisan bakery, we are inspired by natural craftsmanship. Tradition, craftsmanship and passion form the foundation of the quality we provide.
There are only around 250 bread sommeliers in Germany as a whole. This title is awarded after extensive additional training, distinguishing experts in bread culture, sensory analysis, food pairing and more. After decades of working as a master baker and experimenting with bread, Eric Stadelhofer took on this challenge and is now a certified bread sommelier — an ambassador for quality and enjoyment.
Our diverse range includes bread, rolls, pastries, snacks, pies and cakes, which are naturally adapted to the season and the occasion. Providing service with heart is very important to us. We look forward to seeing you and appreciate the respectful and attentive exchange from which we draw strength.
