Wegbeschreibung
The almost three-kilometer route starts at the art museum in Ekkehardstraße. From there, the path leads towards the town hall. Before that, to the south, you will come across the Fool's Fountain with the region's famous jester figure, the Poppele. Opposite is Singen's town hall and next to it the town hall, both featuring works of art by well-known artists such as Otto Dix, Joseph Kosuth and Markus Daum. After crossing the bridge, you reach the town garden via the small river Aach. Here, you will also find various works of art by Ilya Kabakov and the local artist Gero Hellmuth.
After leaving the park, you return to the town hall. The next work of art by Harald F. Müller can be found immediately to the right, following the main road. Back at the crossroads, cross the main road and then turn right into the pedestrian zone. Almost at the end, you will come across the artwork Paradise Tree by Peter Lenk. A little further on, you come across the artwork “Male Figure” by Stephan Balkenhol. Perhaps only recognizable at second glance, the figure stands on the Maggitower on the other side of the railroad line. From there, you walk along the railroad line towards CANO, the city's new shopping temple. At the traffic circle, you come across the two “towers” by Werner Pokorny. Strolling left in front of the CANO into the pedestrian zone, you will inevitably come across the mighty steel sculpture by Erich Hauser. Equipped with a round fountain, this steel colossus has become a popular meeting place for young and old.
At the end of the pedestrian zone, turn right along Ekkehardstraße until you reach the Herz-Jesu-Kirche church on Alpenstraße. In the newly built residential area there, Lukas Schneeweiss' artwork “Weltraum” (Space) is located in the staircase leading to the underground parking garage. The “artistic” adventure tour ends here and the route continues along Ekkehardstraße back to the art museum.
