Wegbeschreibung
We start our tour at the train station in Allensbach. From there, we follow Hafnerstraße in the direction of Kaltbrunn. Once in Kaltbrunn, we turn left at the crossroads and then right again at Kapellenplatz up the hill and follow the path to Freudental. Our route leads through the village of Freudental and runs below the castle, following the signs to Stöckenhof (Stöckenhofstraße). After passing the Stöckenhof, we turn right towards Stöckenmühle. The path leads along the road here. Once you reach the Stöckenmühle, you have the opportunity to buy local produce at the farm stand (self-service).
We follow the road to Langenrain, pass the church and turn left onto the main road at the crossroads near Langenrain Castle. After a short time, a path leads to the right (signposted Hof Höfen), we turn off here. If you want to take a short break, you can stop off at Hof Höfen (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
We follow the path to the next crossroads in the forest (at the field cross), where we keep left towards Liggeringen. Once in Liggeringen, we turn left (Bodanrückstraße) towards Hirtenhof (small sign on Bodanrückstraße) and then turn right again directly towards Mindelsee. At the next junction, turn right onto the gravel path. We follow the path and pass the Dürrenhof. Here you can take a break at the “Rosenstüble” for a cold drink or a cup of coffee. The path then continues to Möggingen. Once in Möggingen, we turn left into Mindelseestraße in the center of the village and follow the path to Mindelsee. At the end of the path along the Mindelsee, we turn right towards Markelfingen. You can also take a short break at Café Diener in Markelfingen. At the crossroads in Oberdorfstraße, we turn left onto the cycle path shortly after the crossroads. We follow this to Allensbach. From Wednesday to Sunday, homemade ice cream is available for refreshment at the Schumacher pastry shop on the Rathausplatz in Allensbach. Our tour ends back at the culture and tourist office; there are several places to stop for refreshments in Allensbach at the end of the tour.
