The "Große Dorfblick-Runde" is an extended version of the "Hegau-Bingo – Kleine Dorfblick-Runde"; it not only connects the three districts but also links seamlessly with the Flusserlebnispfad and the Aach River, starting directly from Singen.
The unique starting point along the Radolfzeller Aach via the Flusserlebnispfad allows you to immediately experience the transition from urban surroundings to nature. The principle of Hegau-Bingo begins right here: becoming attuned to small changes, sounds, and details of the landscape along the way.
At the three Dorfblick stations in Hausen an der Aach, Beuren an der Aach, and Schlatt unter Krähen, the concept comes to life. Wooden sculptures, children’s benches, and permanently installed bingo boards invite visitors to consciously observe their surroundings. The game doesn’t take place on a sheet of paper, but directly through perception: children and adults discover together what is otherwise easily overlooked—everyday sounds, details of nature, or typical village scenes.
The section between Volkertshausen and Mühlhausen-Ehingen is particularly impressive. Here, the view opens up far across the Hegau region, and the striking Hegau volcanic cones stand out against an impressive panoramic backdrop. This section allows visitors to experience the region’s geological uniqueness firsthand.
The "Große Dorfblick-Runde" thrives on the changing perspectives: from the urban starting point through river landscapes and villages to sweeping views of the countryside. The Hegau-Bingo – Große Dorfblick-Runde extends the small route with a scenic start from Singen (Stadtgarten). From there, the route follows the Radolfzeller Aach along the Flusserlebnispfad toward Hausen an der Aach, connecting the town, the river landscape, and the three districts into a continuous exploration tour.
In Hausen an der Aach, the well-known section of the Dorfblick-Runde begins with its first stop. From here, the route continues along the Radolfzeller Aach to Beuren an der Aach, where another Dorfblick stop invites you to take a break.
The route then heads toward Volkertshausen, which is a great place to take a break. From there, the route continues to Schlatt unter Krähen, where the third Dorfblick station on the loop is located and serves as another clear landmark.
From there, the route heads back to Hausen an der Aach, completing the large loop.
The route is mostly flat, easy to ride, and deliberately combines access to the city, the river’s course, and the village landscape into a cohesive route.
Ausrüstung
All you need is a road-safe bicycle and weather-appropriate clothing. We also recommend bringing drinking water, a small snack, and, if desired, a picnic blanket for breaks at the Dorfblick stations. A helmet is especially recommended for children.
