Besonderheiten der Tour
Aussichtsreich / Kulturelle Highlights
The Lake Constance Megathlon has been held annually in and around Radolfzell since 2000. This triathlon-inspired event sees several hundred participants compete in swimming, cycling, inline skating, mountain biking and running. At almost 37 km long, the mountain bike course is certainly one of the most challenging events.
Starting in Radolfzell, it runs in a large arc through the Schienerberg forests, past Rielasingen-Worblingen, and back again. The route winds its way up and down, mostly on solid forest paths. However, it also features some physically challenging sections.

Wegbeschreibung
The tour begins at the Herzenbad in Radolfzell, on the shores of Lake Constance. From there, cycle to Zeppelinstraße. At the next roundabout, take the third exit and continue cycling alongside Radolfzeller Straße until you reach Moos. Cross the village via Dorfstraße and Kaiserstraße. At the end of the village, turn onto Mühlestraße towards Bankholzen. Instead of riding into the village, bear left and cycle through the nearby woods. The route then climbs steadily uphill along paved forest paths until you pass the former Schrotzburg castle. From here, you will cycle downhill again, leaving the forest shortly before Bohlingen. You will then head south and climb uphill through the forest again. Just below Schossen, you will have reached the highest point, after which you can cycle downhill again. Continue towards Worblingen, first cycling through the forest and then between fields. You will pass through the village and finally circle around Hartberg. The route then continues in a small arc through the alder forest towards Überlingen am Ried. Running parallel to the main road, you will cycle past the village and on to the Ziegeleiweiher Rickelshausen nature reserve. From there, follow the railway tracks and then take a dirt road past an allotment garden to Zeppelinstraße. Follow this road into town and take the familiar route back to the starting point.
