Wegebeschaffenheit
The town of Singen responded to the Nordic walking boom in the early 2000s and installed four Nordic walking routes in the town center, on Hartberg and on Schienerberg with the financial support of four sponsors. The outdated signposting has now been renewed and integrated into the “Pleasure Walking” concept in Bohlingen. There are now a total of six uniformly signposted circular routes.
Autorentipp
Another Nordic walking center in Hegau is located in Tengen. There are four more signposted routes there.
Wegbeschreibung
This easy, inner-city tour starts at the Scheffelhalle in Schaffhauserstraße. Right at the beginning, the circular tour leads into Singen's town garden. The two branches of the Aach river are close by at the start. The route leads across the site of the State Garden Show in 2000, past allotments and back to the Stadtgarten and the Aach to the Scheffelhalle. Although this tour is actually an inner-city tour, the majority of the circular route leads through natural areas. At 3.3 km in length, this circular route is the shortest Nordic walking route in Singen and is ideal for beginners and less trained walkers.
