Beschreibung
Since 1925, Albert Funk, a pharmacist from Singen, took care of the archaeological heritage of his hometown. It was thanks to him that excavations were carried out over decades, during which some sensational finds came to light.
In 1951, these finds were able to move into their new home in the exhibition rooms of Singen Castle. Since then, generous allocations from the state have made the Hegau Museum one of the most attractive exhibitions for prehistory and early history in Baden-Württemberg.
The rooms of the Hegau Museum are located on the second floor of Singen Castle and are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible at present. The city of Singen is endeavoring to remedy this situation as soon as possible.
