Beschreibung
In 1837, Countess Caroline von Waldau bought the LILIENBERG, at that time still part of the large Breitengut agricultural estate. She had the Villa Lilienberg built and a park laid out. Even though the Lilienberg changed hands several times in the years that followed, the park was largely preserved in its original form. In addition to the striking catalpa, there is also a ginkgo and a Judas tree from the original period. A number of decorative elements such as the fountain, the viewing pavilion and a variety of sculptures complete the extensive park.
Today, the well-tended park offers visitors to the LILIENBERG a green oasis with hidden retreats that invite them to linger.
