Old Post office

Since the 18th century, Radolfzell has been connected to the main stems of the Austrian land post. In 1763 the Taxis Imperial Post established a post office for coaches and riders.

Beschreibung

A new building was erected for the Imperial Post at the corner of Teggingerstrasse and Schützenstrasse. The insignis post horn, carrier pigeon and imperial regale are still visible on the outer walls.
